'The Cyclorama of Matter'
76 cm x 56 cm
An original pigmented ink and swiss watercolour crayon artwork on paper from a highly productive studio phase in 2012 - the title taken from Nigerian born writer Ben Okri. This symbol of the abstracted form of a Blackbean Seedpod has appeared in my work since 2005 ... at once ancient and contemporary - an appealing universal symbol recognised in many cultures around this globe we call home.
