ABOUT THIS SALE :

In 2010, the start of the SEEDARTLAB residencies, I began to produce material from artworks and photographs - first postcards, posters and calendars, then, working with Martin Barry, at BRISBANE DIGITAL IMAGES, who produces high quality scanned images on a variety of premium quality, archival media, I began selecting works for LIMITED EDITION PRINTS which you'll see when scrolling through products.

This exciting new direction for my Artwork came in the weeks anbefore international residency at Kew Garden's infamous Millennium Seedbank in Oct 2011. Life was non stop, 2012 two major residencies, the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at UQ, Brisbane then a Cairns Botanic Gardens/Tanks studio residency - somewhere in there also a 6 month Studio residency in Paddington, Brisbane.

Through online media + especially NEWSLETTERS I was selling prints yet an ONLINE STORE was clearly a necessity. 2013 disrupted by moving home & studio meant all residencies were on hold, art making and teaching minimal & little time to set up shop! November 2013 I was thrilled to launch SeedArtLab, my wonderful home studio, and in 2014, after an exciting May residency at PlantBank in Sydney I finally found time to fire up this ONLINE STORE by September.

REALISING creatives running solo online stores need considerable time, energy, skills and FOCUS so I was delighted, and grateful, to have people responding to this store well given my FOCUS was clearly split between continuing residencies, a growing number of public engagements, workshops, offers and opportunities.

REALLY ... its come down to the last few months heading into Winter 2024 that serious maintenance & updating at this platform means I'm getting better at livening things up here.

Next year I'll be relocating an hour north of this current home + studio so I am taking time to find a whole new range of artworks to present whilst I'm so home-oriented, caring for my darling mum who'll soon be 94, & despite still being socially engaged, she and my extended family, are planning to all be living close by for her next phase in Aged Care... after a period of uncertainty the new plan is looking really positive. AND SeedArttLab will simply relocate and live happily on.
