Just so you know: photos here, uploaded May 27, are of the original work in progress in the studio & completed. The work is being professionally scanned & the resulting high quality image will be added asap.
In 2024 the artist has been deeply immersed in completing a significant body of work on paper in progress since last year, & some over recent years.
Late 2021 becoming a live-in carer for a beloved nonagenarian mother stalled exhibition plans but certainly not the love of making art. With the studio at the front of the house and considerably more time spent at home & in the studio the number of works being created grew ... like a wild garden more or less. As this year closes and 2025 commences at some point a major relocation an hour north to be closer extended family will occur ... so this year many more artworks will gradually be offered for sale here, through StudioVisits by appointment ( text 0403 599 344 to make a time ) with a special pre MOVING SALE on the cards for Spring in the Southern Hemisphere!
Previously residencies and work adventures took the artist to regional, interstate and overseas destinations after settling in Brisbane in 2008 and pursuing Seed Diversity through Art.
Moving will be the end of an era in some respects but just the start of an exciting new phase too.
