IRTALIE
Irtalie is the ndigenous name from Bundjalung Country for the Blackbean seedpod which inspired the key motif in this artwork. Growing up near that region of Northern NSW I wanted to py tribute to the people who cared for this land for thousands of years.

The original artwork was a painting an unframed, unstretched artwork on linen, featuring frayed edges & linen thread stitching.
(730mm x 580mm). It was framed by the US buyer, without glass as the linen paint surface is archivally sound.
