All materials provided ... the artist's seed collection for inspiration, paper, ink and mark making/drawing tools.

ITS a casual, relaxing INTRO to the long-running intensive SeedArtLab Weekend and One-day workshops... so the focus will be on simply getting comfortable with working in ink, on paper & trying out different drawing approaches ... with plenty of time to focus on drawing a variety of seed forms.

Its the perfect setting for a child (8+) to come learn with an adult

Anyone interested in the all day SeedArtLab workshop to test the waters first.

$65 for TWO HOURS or $120 for 4 hours

KEEN to do 2 SESSIONS in ONE DAY?

Just bring your own lunch to have in the break ... and take a look around the artist's studio at her seed collections, books, journals and artworks.

PLEASE NB: the Artist doesn't offer classes for children without an accompanying adult. However her work in schools is well known and her case study in the Queensland Creative Inquiry Textbook for Senior Visual Arts students is well known ... the reason she works often with teachers in schools on One or Two day Workshops.

YOU ARE WELCOME to ask for another date IF you wish to assemble your own group of 4 or 6 people & even use your own venue if its close to the artist's home ... school holiday dates may be possible ... just check with the artist in advance re the schedule.

THIS INTRO WORKSHOP is usually only offered as part of a residency or special project ... the artist has a long list of fascinating experiences/venues running these taster workshops ... many go on to do longer workshops with the artist afterward or sign up for the ONLINE SeedArtLab INTRO WORKSHOP through this Online Store.
